Day1: Transfer from Kampala to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park
After an early breakfast, meet with your driver guide and set for an 8-9 hours journey to the misty Bwindi Impenetrable forest found in the south western region of Uganda. The park is popularly known for offering the best gorilla safari experience in Africa. The road trip gives you an opportunity to get lost in the mesmerizing landscapes of Uganda on your way to the park.
Enjoying lunch enroute at Agip Motel in Mbarara, continue with your journey to Bwindi forest situated in south western region of the country. Upon arrival in the park, check in at your booked lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking experience and afternoon transfer to Bunyonyi lake
You will need to wake up early for a delicious breakfast, later transfer to park headquarter office for briefing about the gorilla trekking exercise. Here you are grouped and assigned ranger guides. At exactly 8:00 am, transfer to starting point and begin off the trek. Expect to go through thick undergrowth and creepers as you search for a habituated gorilla family with ranger guide. You will be allowed to spend one hour with the gorilla family from time you locate it. You are allowed to take photos, videos as learn more about their interesting patterns of life in the jungle.
After the unforgettable experience with the mountain gorillas, return to lodge for lunch and relaxation. Later in the afternoon, head out for an optional Batwa community walk where you learn more about the exciting authentic culture of the Batwa people. After the awesome experience, transfer to the ionic lake Bunyonyi one of the most beautiful lakes in Uganda blessed with numerous islands.

Day 3: Traditional Canoe ride
Wake up early in the morning and head out for a canoe ride on Bunyonyi lake. here you get a chance to sight as many colorful birds as you can, you will meet and greet with the local people as learn more about their interesting culture. The canoe ride offers you a chance to explore the 29 islands on the lake. later return to the lodge, check out and depart back to Kampala. You will enjoy lunch en-route at Igongo cultural Centre and enjoy amazing stopover at the Equator. Upon arrival in Kampala, your driver guide drops you to your hotel of residence or at the airport to catch up with your scheduled flight back home.
